I just had to post this picture. Addie looks so cute in her little spring green dress. She doesn't have a first day at school, so she had to have her picture taken to add to the blog.

- Rick and Melanie fell in love and were married in 2006. Rick had two daughters Brittany and Jessica. Since then we had little Addison. The long and short of our life is that We have been making a go of trying to make a "blended" family work. We've had a lot of ups and downs and we're still learning a lot, but we keep on going. It's been a wonderful ride, to be a family. One thing we have learned is best said by Maya Angelou: "We do the best we can with what we know, and when we know better, we do better."

I love the updates, Mel! Your girls are so cute and I can't believe how old Addie looks?! We need to get Addie and Josh together ASAP...which gives us an excuse to get together as well! :)
