Easter Sunday...
We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. The day started with Easter baskets for the kids. Brittany and Jessica (being a little older now) had their baskets filled with sunglasses, sidewalk chalk, some candy and a mini Children's Primary Songbook. As you can see, they were thrilled with their sunglasses and wore them all day.
Addie, on the other hand, was too little for candy. But she did try a Peep (sugar coated marshmallow.) She hated it and threw it across the room. I guess the good news is, that she won't be our sugar-addicted child. LOL.
Later in the morning we had a family devotional. It was a great opportunity to talk about the true meaning of Easter. We talked about how grateful we are for the life and resurrection of Christ. We also talked about how we can work to become more like Him. It was a wonderful experience. After church services, we went to Grandpa and Grandma's house for the feast. It was so delicious... our family's favorite... honey spiral ham. All in all it was a good day. It was a chance for us to reflect, to be with family and to have peace. We are so grateful for the knowledge of our savior, Jesus Christ and the blessings which we receive when we follow His plan.
