It was a wonderful Mother's Day. Nothing spectacular, just the routine visits, token gifts and good food, as always. On Saturday, May 9th, we went to see Rick's family. The kids loved spending time with Grandma and Grandma, Uncle Jim, Aunt Linda and all the cousins. Jim put on a fabulous barbecue and everyone pitched in on some of the side dishes. Rick was particularly thrilled with his mom's famous potato salad. Rick's Aunt Renee was also there with her friend. It was a wonderful day. On Sunday, May 10th, we went over to my parents house. All were there, including Grandma K. I am particularly grateful for the mothers in my life who have influenced me for good and have given me a wonderful example to live by.
