We had a wonderful Christmas this year. As always we were able to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with family. On Christmas Eve, we went to Grandpa and Grandma K's house where we had a wonderful dinner and opened presents. They were so generous this year with the gifts. The kids had a great time opening their presents. I was fun to watch them and how excited they were. We had Grammy come spend the night at our house on Christmas Eve and she was able to watch the kids open presents on Christmas morning. Addie was particularly cute this year now that she is older. All the kids had a great time and were pleasantly surprised with their gifts from Santa. Brittany received a huge scrapbooking tote and kit, Jessica received a horse with a rider and a wood barn, and Addison received a new baby doll with all the accessories (stroller, carrier, pack-n-play, etc.). Rick received an eagle head that Brittany hand-made in her art class at school. After all that, we went back to Grandpa and Grandma K's house for the all-day event of sitting around and eating. We just hung out all day and made crafts, watched movies, ate more food. It was a good time. It was nice to have a day that we could spend together without all the running around we usually do.
