HALLOWEEN 2008

Halloween this year was quite an undertaking, although a great deal of fun. We took Addison and Jessica trick-or-treating. Of course, Brittany is too old to hang out with her family, so she went to a friend's house to have fun. Addison was a little witch this year. She was so adorable (as you can see from the picture.) She had such a wonderful time trick-or-treating this year. It was hilarious to see her go from door to door. Once she figured out what knocking on the door resulted in, she was quite elated with the activity. Embarking on her new independence, she decided that no one was going to carry her treat bag for her, even though it got too heavy for her to carry. So she just dragged it around with her. (Totally hilarious to watch.) All in all, it took us over an hour to hit about 8 houses. (Can't go too fast with little legs!) Jessie had a great time too. I think we really held her back from getting a lot of territory covered this year, but she was very helpful and patient with getting Addison from door to door. After trick-or-treating, we went to the infamous chili-fest at grandpa and grandma's house. That's always good times and good food!
